Kai and Marcus Duo Gold Medalists 2014 - 2017 at Team GB Performing Arts

When our dancers step onto an international stage, they carry more than choreography. They carry pride, perseverance, and a piece of Britain with them. From Poland to Slovenia, Team GB Performing Arts continues to show the world what British dancers are made of—and the results speak for themselves.

Whether it’s the sharp rhythm of a tap solo or the gravity-defying strength of acro, our dancers rise to the challenge with passion and precision. These aren’t just performances—they’re statements of intent.

A Standout Season: 2024 World Acro Championships

In 2024, Team GB made a powerful return to the IDO World Acrobatic Championships held in Poland. The result? A medal haul that reflects not only elite training, but also exceptional heart:

  • 🥇 6 Gold Medals

  • 🥈 4 Silver Medals

  • 🥉 5 Bronze Medals

These routines weren’t just technically brilliant—they were emotionally charged, fiercely committed, and delivered with total professionalism.

Tap Attack: Setting the Standard

At the core of Team GB’s legacy is our world-class tap team, organised by Tap Attack. Since their debut in 2008, the tap team has become one of the most successful in IDO history, racking up:

  • 🏆 60+ World Titles

  • 🌐 Performances across Europe and beyond

  • 👏 A reputation that echoes through every click, shuffle, and stomp

There’s a reason the world watches when our tap dancers take the floor.

Taking British Dance Global

Over the years, Team GB has competed in:

  • Germany

  • Poland

  • Slovenia

  • Czech Republic

Each destination adds a new chapter to our story—and a new wave of inspiration to the dancers back home.

More Than Medals

Behind every win is a journey of hard work, long rehearsals, setbacks, and breakthroughs. Our dancers train with intensity and travel with humility, knowing they’re part of something bigger than themselves.

The medals are the reward. But the real legacy? That’s built in every leap, turn, and team huddle.

Want to Be Part of It?

Auditions are open for 2025. If you're ready to train hard, perform big, and represent the UK with pride — Team GB Performing Arts wants to hear from you.
